Course description
The Net Languages Pronunciation Practice courses are highly motivating materials designed for self-study access as well as for use by teachers with interactive whiteboards in a classroom context. The courses are available at three levels: Basic (A1 to A2 of the Common European Framework), Intermediate (B1 to B1+) and Advanced (B2 to C1). These courses contain approximately 75 interactive activities at the Basic level and over 100 exercises at the Intermediate and Advanced levels.
The courses cover a wide range of pronunciation features at the word, phrase and sentence level, focusing on sounds, stress and intonation. The material in each course includes a large number of interactive discovery and practice exercises which will help learners to practise pronunciation in an engaging and fun way. Learners are supported during the course by feedback, examples in context, explanations, highly useful visual and audio support, and exercise answers. Learners are encouraged to record themselves doing the exercises and then compare their version with the original recording. An added feature to this course is Net Languages’ pronunciation tool, which is a comprehensive introduction to the sounds of English.
