Description of our Tutor Support service

Within 48 hours of requesting Tutor Support, your tutor will send you an email and let you know how you can contact him or her.

IELTS Preparation Course (Writing module)
In Section 2 Part B you will send your tutor a text for Task 1 of the Writing paper by email. Your tutor will send you helpful comments and an indication of the IELTS band your work would be awarded.
In Section 3 Part E you will practise Task 2. You will send your writing to your tutor by email and your tutor will send you constructive comments, corrections and an indication of the band your mark would fall into.
IELTS Preparation Course (Speaking module)
In the Speaking module, you will organise 2 telephone tutorials with your tutor:

Phone tutorial 1: In Section 2 you will organise a telephone tutorial with your tutor to practise the first part of the Speaking exam (by telephone or by voice chat on the internet). Your tutor will send you comments and suggestions on your speaking by email.

Phone tutorial 2: In Section 4 you will organise another telephone tutorial with your tutor to practise parts 2 and 3 of the speaking exam. After the conversation, you tutor will send you comments by email on your performance.
IELTS Practice Test (Writing module)
In the Writing module of the test, you will send your tutor task 1 and task 2 by email. Your tutor will send you corrections and useful comments to help you improve your writing, and a mark which corresponds to the IELTS band score.
IELTS Practice Test (Speaking module)
In the Speaking module of the test, you will organise a telephone tutorial with your tutor. In the tutorial you will practise a complete speaking paper. Your tutor will send you helpful comments on your speaking after the tutorial and a mark which corresponds to the IELTS band score.

From the moment you register for Tutor Support, you will have a maximum of 2 months to send your written tasks to your tutor and to organise your speaking practice activities.
